Directions

Kassel is a city in the geographical center of Germany. It is very well connected by high-speed trains and major motorways. From the railway station it takes only about 5 minutes by tram or 20 minutes by foot to get to our offices.

Inside the building

  • Take the main entrance “C” from Wilhelmshöher Allee.
  • Bear right and take the stairs to the 1st floor.
  • Turn right and you will find our secretariat in Room 1403.

By plane

  • The closest major airports are Rhein-Main-International Airport in Frankfurt (FRA) and the airport in Hannover (HAJ). From both airports there are high-speed trains to Kassel.

By train

  • Take the high-speed train ICE to the station Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe (ICE Railway Station)
  • Continue by tram (Line 1, direction “Holländische Straße” or Line 3, direction “Ihringshäuser Straße”) until the tram stop “Murhardstraße/Universität”

By car

Approaching from the north or the south:

  • Coming from the Autobahn A7 change onto the City-Autobahn A49 direction “Kassel-Zentrum”
  • Take the exit “Kassel-Auestadion” and follow the street straight-on for a few kilometers.
  • After the two lanes have merged, turn right at the second traffic light into Wilhelmshöher Allee.
  • The university is located on the right after 100 meters

Approaching from the west:

  • Coming from the A44 change onto the City-Autobahn A49 direction “Kassel-Zentrum”.
  • Take the exit “Kassel-Auestadion” and follow the street straight-on for a few kilometers.
  • After the two lanes have merged, turn right at the second traffic light into Wilhelmshöher Allee.
  • The university is located on the right after 100 meters
