Welcome to the Research Center for Information System Design (ITeG) at the University of Kassel

The ITeG Research Center is one of four scientific centers at the University of Kassel. It focuses on a socio-technical perspective on the design of information technology, and encourages its members to work with researchers outside of their own discipline. The research carried out in the center addresses the development of information technology from multiple perspectives including system usability, user trust and confidence in technology, psychological and sociological aspects and adherence to the law.


In conjunction with 2019 IEEE International Conference on Pervasive Computing and Communications (PerCom 2019), March 11-15, 2019, in Kyoto, Japan.

Goda Klumbyte, together with Carmen K.M. Lam, Liselot Ramirez, Jennifer Stoll and Pinar Tuzcu, will facilitate a workshop on algorithmic regulation as part of the Herr*Krit summer school on 23-27 July in Kassel.
