Project Structure

The aim of VENUS is to develop and evaluate a design methodology for ubiquitous computing systems that systematically considers the interaction between technology, user and social networks, in order to design ubiquitous computing applications in a way which is socially and legally acceptable as well as economically viable.

This is achieved in VENUS in three parallel research fields and four associated working committees. As the work progresses, the degree of collaboration among the involved research areas will further develop and increase accordingly. The following figure illustrates the structure of the VENUS work program. The links in the figure lead to further information about the research areas and the individual projects.
