Guidelines for Submission

Abstracts
The abstracts should not exceed 500 words.
The conference also includes a poster session for preliminary studies, works in progress, or early stage research projects. Abstracts for the poster session are also welcome.
Please use the CHER template for the abstract and send it by email (.docx or .doc file formats) to cher2019@incher.uni-kassel.de with the email topic “Abstract: Your name”.
Deadline: 28th February 2019


Best Doctoral Paper Award

Current PhD students or recently graduated PhDs (within the last two years) are invited to submit papers based on their doctoral work. Among the submitted papers, one will be selected for the Best Doctoral Paper Award. To be considered, papers should not be co-authored with a faculty member and they should be accompanied by a statement in which the wish to participate in the competition is expressed.

Full Paper/Publication

It is planned to publish selected papers in an edited volume.
Please note that t
he papers should not exceed 8,000 words (without references).
Please use the CHER template for the full paper and send it by email (.docx or .doc file formats)
to cher2019@incher.uni-kassel.de with the email subject “Full Paper: Your name”.
Deadline: 31st July 2019
Extended deadline for Full Papers to be shared with other conference participants: 20th August 2019.


Presentations

Save your presentation in both pptx and pdf formats. Please send your presentation in advance to cher2019@incher.uni-kassel.de with the email topic “Presentation: Your name”.
Paper presentations last for 15 minutes, plus 15 minutes for questions. 


Poster Presentations

Here are some technical specifications for the poster:

  • Size: A1
  • Format: Portrait format (upright format)
  • Color print
  • Font size headings: at least 48 points
  • Font size text: at least 22 points

You are requested to bring your printed poster to the conference and leave it at the registration desk on the day of your poster presentation.
