Doctoral candidate networks

Here is a list of some central networks which enable professional exchange:

Graduate research programme and graduate centres at the University of Kassel

A graduate research programme is an association of researchers set up for a fixed period of time who carry out research on an agreed, current subject and also accept doctoral candidates and junior researchers in the association. We want the graduate research programmes to be interdisciplinary. The aim is to prepare doctoral candidates intensively for the complex employment market that is academia and simultaneously support them in their early academic independence.

Research Training Groups are set up by the German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft) or other development institutions. Other forms of structured doctorates include graduate schools and graduate centres.

You can find an overview of the current graduate research programmes, graduate centres and dissertation associations on the research websites of the University of Kassel.
