Rights and Licenses

If you publish open access, you only transfer the simple user right to us. Thus, the rights stay with you, the author of the publication, and not with the publishing house. This means you still have the option to publish your online publication on other servers, your personal homepage etc.

Upon request, we publish your file under a Creative Commons license. This license defines the legal framework for the subsequent use and dissemination of your research findings. In total, it offers six different standard license contracts, which can be adopted and used by authors on their own responsibility. Further information on the Creative Commons License is available here.
