All major decisions regarding the work of the ICDD are taken by the International Steering Committee, which meets once a year together with members from all partner universities.
The ICDD has established an advisory board with highly distinguished academics and practitioners in the field of development and decent work.
These experts will support the ICDD in facilitation of exchange with policy experts. A number of institutions and foundations support and cooperate with the ICDD within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The ICDD in Kassel is headed by a Board of Directors of four member-elected scientists, including one representative of the DITSL.
