J.C Garcia Rangel: Forecasting the energy demand of the interconnected and non- interconnected zones in Colombia by the application of SARIMA models and its social and economic impact in residential and rural zones

Abstract

This research is aimed to forecast the energy demand of the interconnected and non-interconnected zones to the main grid supply in Colombia by the application of SARIMA models. This forecasting is designed per region of Colombia to provide information for public planning and policy. Based on the results, this research is meant to assess the social and economic impact of forecasting the energy demand in residential and rural zones.
