News and information

• Joost Kremers (Universität Göttingen) will give a lecture entitled " 'Morphology by itself' in einer parallelen Grammatikarchitektur" on Tuesday, 28 May, 10 am to 12 pm, in room 4048 (KW 5).
  
  
• On 2 July, 6-8 pm, Holden Härtl and Svenja Bepperling will give a lecture entitled "Beeinflusst die Sprache unsere Wahrnehmung von Ereignissen? Einblicke in das Verhältnis zwischen sprachlicher und nicht-sprachlicher Kognition" (lecture hall 400, Mönchebergstr. 7). The lecture is part of the "Varianten der Kulturwissenschaft" series of Institut für Romanistik.
  
  
• At the 44th Poznán Linguistic Meeting (PLM 2013) in Poznan (Poland) Svenja Bepperling and Holden Härtl will give a lecture entitled "Cross-Linguistic Influence in Second Language Acquisition: A Study on Event Conceptualization Patterns" within the session "Mysteries of the mono- and multilingual mind: Its complex storage and processing structures". The 44th Poznán Linguistic Meeting (PLM 2013) will take place from 29 August through 1 September.
  
  
• Holden Härtl will give a lecture entitled "Bestimmt unsere Muttersprache, wie wir Farben wahrnehmen?" on 3 December at experimenta Heilbronn.
