Dear students, the Sprachpraxis courses discussion groups by Mr Cordell take place on:

Monday 10-12

Friday 10-12 and 12-14 in KW3 Room 1122.

Students who sat and passed either the Module 1 exam or the Module 9 exam last semester (WiSe 12-13) may request to view their exam papers.

The viewing will take place on:

Friday 24th May 2013 at 1:30pm
KW5, Room 4048.

Registration emails must be received by Thursday 23rd May at the latest.

• The current Sprachpraxis course descriptions (kommentiertes Veranstaltungsverzeichnis) are out. You may also find them in the Vorlesungsverzeichnis.

• In SS 2013 there are two Sprachpraxis courses specifically aimed at students who are struggling with their written English. Students who have failed Module 1 should book a place in one of these courses. Students who have been told they are at risk of failing Module 1 are also welcome to book a place in one of these courses in addition to any English 1 courses they still have to complete. Other students may take this course if there are enough places.

• Please note that it is not possible to get credit for these courses – they are supplementary courses for people who need extra work on their English language skills.

• The courses are ANG 041 and ANG 042 and are called Remedial English. Registration is simply via the “belegen / abmelden” button in the online lecture list and is open until the courses are full.
