| Function: Cells lacking the gene encoding vacuolin B have a single giant neutral endosome and a prolonged transit of endocytic cargo. Vacuolin A mutants are phenotypically normal. Vacuolin has also been used to target cytoskeletal proteins to the late endosome to analyse the function of the actin coat (click here for more). | |||||
