    Cultural Program

    Included in the program fee is an attractive cultural program. Besides opening and closing ceremonies and leisure activities (movies, sports, hiking, ice skating, sledging, swimming, museums, etc.) we organize interesting excursions.

    This way, you will be able to learn about Germany beyond the classroom.

     

    The Kassel experience:

    Kassel - Following the Paths of the Grimm Brothers

    • Get to know the life and work of the Grimm Brothers, whose fairy tales such as Snow White and Cinderella are well-known all over the world
    • Jaunt through Kassel's royal parks and build a snowman
    • See the continent's oldest museum and Germany's oldest theater

    Excerpts from our excursion program
    Optional trip to Berlin

    • Celebrate New Year's Eve in Berlin
    • Join a city tour through the German capital
    • Experience German history and politics in a nutshell
    • Walk up the Reichstag building
    • Clubs, museums, theaters, shopping, currywurst

    Trip to Erfurt

    • Enjoy 1260 year old Erfurt and join a guided city tour
    • Visit the Merchants’ Bridge (Krämerbrücke) with 32 houses built along its 120-metre length and which is Europe’s longest inhabited bridge
    • Explore one of the best preserved medieval city centres in Germany.
