Expenses

The fee for IWU 2011 is 1990 Euro.

Included in your fee are:

• 1 academic seminar (45 contact hours),
• Intensive German course (30 contact hours),
• Cultural program (opening- and closing ceremony, movie nights, sport activities, etc.),
• Certificate and academic transcript
• Excursions to Erfurt, as well as to Volkswagen Baunatal or to SMA (Solar Technology AG),
• Accommodation in a carefully selected host family with 2 meals per day
• Ticket for public transportation in Kassel
• Health, liability and accident insurance during IWU
• Free internet access on campus (WLAN/computer pool)

If you arrange your own accommodation elsewhere, please inform us when you apply. The fee will be reduced in this case.

Please note: We cannot offer any fee reductions for those who do not want to attend the entire program or for those opting for language courses only.

Additional Expenses are incurred through:

• Travel expenses,
• Personal spending,
• Lunch at the cafeteria of the University of Kassel - approx. Euro 1.45 - 3.50 per meal
• Participation in optional activities
• Participation in Berlin trip.

Please make sure to bring enough cash with you on the day of arrival, to cover the additional cost and have some money for food and beverages for the first few days.
