Relating to the overall topic of “New Perspectives for a Globalized World: Environmental and Cultural Dimensions”, the ISU Kassel 2010 offers the following seminars: 

ENGINEERING MODULE

Environmental Engineering:

• Environmental Engineering and Integrative Environmental Studies (in English)
• Civil Engineering: Introduction to Earthquake Engineering (in English)

CULTURE MODULE

Interactive German Studies & Cultural Studies:

• German History and Politics of the 20th Century (in English)
• Deutsche Geschichte und Politik im 20. Jahrhundert (in German)
• Intercultural Communication (in English)
• German Fairy Tales (in German and English)

INTENSIVE GERMAN LANGUAGE COURSES:

• offered in different levels (40 contact hours)

All seminars will be taught by faculty members from the respective disciplines listed above. Classes meet daily in the mornings or afternoons. Each seminar consists of 20 contact hours and earns 3 credit points.

You can choose one module and participate in up to 2 seminars and the German Language Course. Tuition includes two seminars of your choice and the German language course.
