Our research concept

The faculty of labor and management psychology focuses on:

  • The analysis and adequate design of labor conditions · Work-related burdens and stress
  • The analysis of labor management and its specific effects on the affected parties
  • Different ways of skill development in profit-oriented and non-profit organizations.

Our basic research is concerned with:

  • The development of analysis methods and design criteria
  • The systematic examination of the impact of specific labor conditions on the behavior and experience of the directly affected parties
  • Theory development to explain work behavior.

In the field of application, we design concepts for different areas of operation, the industrial sector and organizations, to improve the working conditions of the affected employees. Different measures of evaluation and other suitable procedures are deployed and refined, to verify and validate the impact of the suggested course of action.
