Presentation on the defossilization of petrochemical clusters at the ACHEMA conference
Industry and science will meet at ACHEMA, the most important trade fair in Germany for the chemical industry, from 10 to 14 June 2024, as the trade fair also offers an international congress program. On 10 June, STD researcher Clemens Schneider will speak on "Implications of defossilisation for petrochemical clusters" in the conference session "Towards a circular economy of plastics".
In the GreenFeed project, the Wuppertal Institute, the German Biomass Research Centre, the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and the University of Kassel are developing roadmaps for the defossilization of the petrochemical industry and its regional clusters as well as technology assessments for biomass and waste-based production routes for plastics.
