Prof. Dr. Mubarak Ahmad Khan is part of the Alexander von Humboldt (AvH)-Program and guest researcher at the Department of Plastics Engineering for three months.

Yasuaki Monnai is phd student at the University of TokyoHis research interest includes controlling electromagnetic wave propagation by designing the structure or morphology of transmission systems and applying them to wireless communication, measurement, and human-machine interfaces. The frequency bands of interest are ranging from microwaves (GHz), terahertz waves (THz) to optical waves (several hundred THz). He was guest scientist at the Institute of Nanostructure Technologies and Analytics (INA), Prof. Hillmer Group, from October 2010 to September 2011.

Prof. Dr. Mama Foupouagnigni was the first mathematician from Cameroon who qualified as a professor in Germany in 2006 at the University of Kassel.  In 2012 Prof. Foupouagnigni recieved the Humboldt Alumni Award for Innovative Networking Initiatives.
