The Online M.Sc. Wind Energy Systems is a part-time distance learning course. Depending on the individual learning schedule, the duration of the program is 5 to 7 semesters. The main target groups for the master's program are natural scientists and engineers. The objective of the master's program is to increase capacity for research and industry in the field of wind energy.

Methods and technology innovations are developed in collaboration with the industry, within the framework of master's theses and doctoral dissertations. Therefore the M.Sc. program is taught by academic experts in wind power from the University of Kassel, Germany’s leading University for sustainability, as well as the Fraunhofer Institute for Wind Energy and Energy System Technology, part of Europe's leading research institute, Fraunhofer. The program also establishes collaborations with industrial companies like Cube Engineering.

Application for the master's program is possible until 1st June 2016. The master's program starts again in October 2016.
