Biography  (Inga Löser)

After completing my bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering at Karlsruhe Institute for Technolgy (KIT) specialising in control theory, and spending a semester abroad at Linköping University in Sweden, I went on to complete a Master’s degree in electrical engineering at TU Berlin in 2019. During my master’s thesis in the Control Systems Group, I focused on distributed optimization for microgrid operation.

In 2020, I joined the Department of Sustainable Electrical Energy Systems (e2n) at the University of Kassel as a research assistant and conducted research on resilient operation strategies for electrical distribution grids.

At SMA Solar Technology AG, I subsequently worked on control algorithms for scheduling of renewable hybrid power plants as well as on machine learning models for anomaly detection in inverter operation.

Since 2026 I am a research assistant in the Automation and Sensorics in Networked Systems (ASN) Group at the University of Kassel. My research focuses on distributed model predictive control for multiscale systems.
