The following research results have been presented at the European Control Conference in Bucharest: One contribution has described how processes of additive manufacturing (also called 3D-printing) can be optimized by principles of model-predictive control for partial differential equations. A second talk has shown that stable limit cycles of oscillating systems can be constructed systematically by use of switching affine dynamics.
