Since the summer semester of 2005, Professor Zacharias has been teaching power electronics, magnetic components and other courses at the University of Kassel for the 36th semester. Professor Zacharias has numerous awards and book publications to his credit, as well as successfully completed research projects and industrial collaborations. The summer semester 2023 is now his official last semester before his well-deserved retirement.

Thus, on July 11, 2023, he held his last lecture in the subject of power electronics. All staff members of his department EVS visited him in his lecture and said goodbye to him together with the students.

Many thanks for 18 years of good and successful teaching and research. In September, there will be an official farewell ceremony at the EVS department.
