A huge congratulation to Dr. Daniel Kopp, who has successfully defended his PhD thesis at the University of Kassel, entitled "DDoS Equilibrium: Internet Measurement Perspective on Attacks and Mitigation." His research, done jointly with DE-CIX, has contributed substantially to measuring, understanding, and mitigating DDoS attacks at the very core of the Internet – Internet Exchange Points (IXPs). His work has appeared at top conferences like IMC, CCS, SIGCOMM, and PAM.
