On April 16, 2026, a parliamentary evening took place in Berlin under the motto: "North Hesse strong: North Hesse's contribution to Germany's security". The University of Kassel was represented by several departments of electrical engineering, computer science and mechanical engineering. In addition to presentations and a panel discussion, the focus was on networking between stakeholders from politics, business and science. The event was organized by Regionalmanagement Nordhessen and the regional council.
