The number of e-bike riders is growing steadily and the advantages of the bikes are convincing more and more people. Unfortunately, the number of accidents is also rising.

Thanks to the support of Riese & Müller, researchers from the LOEWE focus area DyNaMo and ComTec will in future be able to include two e-bikes in the investigation and development of accident protection systems for cyclists. This will make it possible to research protection concepts and systems under realistic conditions, including for e-bike-specific requirements.
