CMP Group Represented at OMN 2026
OMN 2026, held from 2–6 August 2026 at Hotel Sacacomie in Québec, brought together researchers worldwide to discuss advances in optical MEMS, nanophotonics, integrated photonics, metamaterials, and related emerging technologies.
The CMP group contributed three studies spanning strain-tunable optical properties, emerging perovskite materials, and exciton–photon interactions. M. K. M. Dad, J. Papp, A. Shrivastava, P. Seifert, and J. Adam presented a first-principles study of strain-tunable Raman shifts in PtSe₂, complemented by experimental validation. A. Kumari, A. Shrivastava, and J. Adam investigated the electronic and optical properties of sodium-based double perovskites using first-principles calculations. Finally, Y. Li, L. Olano-Vegas, J. Adam, B. Martín-García, L. E. Hueso, and A. Seifert contributed work on qBIC–exciton–polariton coupling in nanostructured ReS₂, focusing on its potential for optoelectronic applications.
Congratulations to all contributing authors for their excellent work and for representing the CMP group at OMN 2026!
