ACM TEI ‘25 Studio accepted

Together with colleagues from France and Switzerland, Goda Klumbyte and Claude Draude will be hosting a studio on 'Tangible LLMs: Tangible Sense-Making For Trustworthy Large Language Models’ at the ACM International Conference on Tangible, Embedded and Embodied Interaction (TEI).

The studio explores the potential of tangible AI, giving physical form to Artificial Intelligence, to enhance understanding and trust in transformer-based models like Large Language Models (LLMs). Through hands-on activities, the studio will investigate how tangible interaction techniques can demystify core LLM mechanisms like input/output embedding, positional encoding, and self-attention. Participants will engage in brainstorming and prototyping sessions to design tangible interfaces that help users grasp how LLMs make predictions.

ACM TEI takes place in Bordeaux, France, from March 4-7, 2025. The studio date is March 4. More info on the conference can be found at the website. A more detailed studio description can be found at the studio website.
