Process control technology

The lecture Process Control Engineering will not take place this semester.

Learning objectives:
Structure and mode of operation of process control systems, their hardware and software components, basics of control options using process control computers, modeling of processes, mathematical descriptions of the processes to be controlled or regulated.Contents:Structure of processes, mathematical model descriptions, structure of process control systems - and automation systems, structure and mode of operation of peripheral units, real-time properties, programming, presentation of commercially available systems and tools with reference to the application, example applications from various applications.      

Prerequisites:
Prerequisites according to examination regulations: digital technology, microprocessors or computer architecture, basics of programming, control engineering, mathematics. Recommended Prerequisites: Programming skills, fundamentals of computer science, digital engineering, microprocessors or computer architecture, control engineering, mathematics.
