Kristina Dingel, on behalf of IES (David Meier and Bernhard Sick), presents a poster entitled Characterizing X-ray free-electron laser pulses with deep learning, where detector images consisting of different time-of-flight sensors are denoised in a pipeline using denoising autoencoders and temporal characteristics of free-electron laser pulses are extracted using Convolutional Neural Networks.
