The lecture “Einführung in C” is not and won't be offered anymore. An exam is still possible. The content of part 1 of “Labor C/Embedded Systems” is similar to “Einführung in C”. Enroll to that course, there information regarding the exam for “Einführung in C” will be communicated, too.

Im Labor Data Mining and Machine Learning erlernen Sie die Grundlagen einer Datenauswertung von der Vorverarbeitung über das Extrahieren von Wissen aus Daten bis hin zur Auswertung von automatisierten Methoden. Im ersten Teil der Lehrveranstaltung lernen Sie grundlegende Konzepte, Methoden und Anwendungen der Mustererkennung im Data Mining kennen. Während regelmäßiger Treffen tauschen Sie sich mit Ihren Kommilitonen aus, um weitere Fragen zu diskutieren. Im zweiten Teil des Kurses vertiefen Sie Ihre Kenntnisse im Rahmen eines Projektes, bei dem die praktische Anwendung des Erlernten im Vordergrund steht. Der Kurs wird anhand der Leistung bei Projektpräsentationen und der abschließenden Dokumentation bewertet.

Part 1 covers the basics of programming in C with a focus on hardware programming. There will be four two-and-a-half-hour lecture sessions. Afterwards (end of May), there will be a one-hour course achievement. After passing the course achievement, the participating computer science students are entitled to attend the second module part ("Labor C/Embedded Systems Teil 2") in one of the participating research groups. The participating electrical engineering students are entitled to attend the course "Python course" after passing the course achievement.

Machine Learning Bachelor Seminar at Intelligent Embedded Systems


This course is offered in the form of a conference seminar. Similar to a scientific conference, the participants submit their own conference contributions, participate in the review of other contributions and meet at the end of the semester for a joint workshop where the results are presented and discussed. Thematically, this conference is in the area of machine learning. The specific topics of the seminar papers are announced by academic staff of the department and presented at the introductory lecture. This takes place at the beginning of the lecture period.
