Refugees - Pre-degree courses
In the INTEGRA programme funded by the DAAD, the ISZ (International Study Centre) at the University of Kassel supports refugees who would like to study in Germany and who meet the necessary requirements to do so.
Attendance of these German courses is free of charge for eligible refugees if they meet the following requirements. We require from you the following documents in one pdf file:
- proof of your status as a refugee (copy of your ID card with details of your status) - Note: this generally refers to a residence status that indicates the existence of a refugee background. In addition to the status as a so-called recognised refugee, this can also be recognition as a person entitled to subsidiary protection, a temporary residence permit or toleration.
- a certificate of graduation from secondary school or a certificate of admission to university from your home country
- and, if available, certificates of study or of your highest degree in your home country (in each case in a certified German or English translation)
- your last certified proof of German language proficiency, e.g. telc certificate, Goethe certificate, Test-DaF certificate.
Please send the documents listed above as one pdf file to: integra[at]uni-kassel[dot]de
The application does not mean that you are registered. We will check your documents and then let you know if registration is possible.
