Background

The teaching evaluation toolbox was developed by the Innovation Unit II "Metaevaluation" within PRONET² in an iterative process. Further information on PRONET² and Innovation Unit II can be found here.

The team of Innovation Unit II consisted of Prof. Dr. Hedda Bennewitz, Prof. Dr. Andreas Eichler, Prof. Dr. Claudia Finkbeiner, Prof. Dr. Hans-Peter Kuhn, Prof. Dr. Frank Lipowsky, Dumitru Malai, Johannes Osterberg and Dr. Sebastian Vogel. Mr. Lipowsky (as head of the innovation unit) and Mr. Vogel (as coordinator of the innovation unit) were in charge of the project.

The teaching evaluation toolbox as a development of the PRONET² Innovation Unit II is based on the preliminary work of the PRONET meta-evaluation study (PROMETEUS) from the first funding phase of the Quality Offensive Teacher Education (PRONET). During the years 2015-2018, PRONET sub-projects also had access to an adaptable teaching evaluation in the form of the Fundamentum add-on.

Since a great need for individually adaptable teaching evaluation was seen and the special features of teacher training courses underline this need, the preliminary work of the Fundamentum-Additum was significantly expanded in PRONET² and further developed into the teaching evaluation toolbox.
