Ester Ava Höhle is a doctoral student at INCHER-Kassel and receives a scholarship by the Hans Böckler Foundation.
From February 2010 until the end of 2012 she worked as a researcher at INCHER-Kassel. She was responsible for the quantitative data analysis and interpretation in the EUROAC project (DFG, ESF). Also, she worked in the project "Wissenschaft für Fortgeschrittene" (funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Science), a meta-analysis about the professional careers of doctorate holders.

Ester has studied Sociology, Anglistics and Philosophy at the University of Stuttgart, Germany. From 2007 to 2009, she worked as a research assistant in the research area Gender Studies in Engineering at the Technische Universität München (TUM), Germany. Her research projects focused on women in MINT subjects.

Prior to that, she worked at the University of Stuttgart, University of Hohenheim and the Centre of Technology Assessment/Stuttgart in different projects.

Her main fields of research are: educational research and higher education research, gender and social structure theory.
