Receiving - Re-constructing - Recomposing. Practices of Completing Opera Fragments from the Mid-19th to the Early 21st Century

The postdoctoral research project on the completion of opera fragments from the 19th to the 21st century at the Department of Historical Musicology was jointly funded in spring 2025 as part of an interdisciplinary process by Elena Minetti, Ph.D. (as project leader) and Prof. Dr.Carolin Krahn at the University of Kassel and will start in summer 2025. With a funding volume of around €110,000, the project is made possible by the central research funding (ZFF) of the University of Kassel in the university program Pilot for the promotion of fundamentally new and little researched areas.
