Educational Psychology

Welcome to the homepage of the Educational Psychology research group!

In teaching we represent the subject of Educational Psychology in the BSc/MSc Psychology programs. Moreover, we offer courses on educational psychology to students of the teacher training program at the university of Kassel.

In our research we work in the area of teaching and learning in schools and higher education. Our main interests are topics like cooperative learning, quality of communication in settings of cooperative learning, advancement of self-regulated learning, the role of choices for the motivation of students in school, and quality of teaching in higher education.
