Report from the conference: Radio plays, audio walks and podcasts in political education

Listening has so far only played a minor role in political education - despite the fact that audio media continue to play a central role in the socialization of young people. (Children's) radio plays, audio books and podcasts are part of young people's lives and offer a variety of starting points for political education learning arrangements.

A two-day event explored the potential of listening for political education, analyzed political podcasts and got to know audio walks and their creators. In addition to discussions with political didactics experts, the program also included practical workshops.

The aim of the event was to combine auditory approaches with discussions on political didactics, to get to know concepts for educational work with children, teenagers and young adults and to develop them further together.
