Recap: Critical Fabulations of documenta

The symposium “Critical Fabulations of documenta,” held on July 9 and 10, marks the end of two days of intensive discussions, new perspectives, and stimulating encounters.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the speakers, whose contributions helped foster a lively exchange on critical narratives within documenta research, as well as to the chairs and attendees for the stimulating discussions during the symposium.
The symposium demonstrated how relevant it is to engage with gaps, omissions, and repressed stories in the narratives surrounding documenta—especially in the run-up to documenta 16.
