Study day "Narrative visualization strategies and historical questions of truth"

In cooperation with the Chair of Systematic Theology at the University of Marburg (Prof. Dr. Malte D. Krüger), a study day will take place on 27.11.25 in the rooms of the ESG (Mönchebergstraße 29), which will focus on the connection between narrative and history. In several lectures from different disciplines (Greek studies, Latin studies, systematic theology, Old and New Testament) the topic will be examined from different perspectives. The event starts at 12.30 pm. At 7.30 pm, we cordially invite you to the public evening lecture by Prof. Dr. Udo Schnelle (Halle) on the topic of "The Myth in the Gospel of John".

You can either attend the entire conference or individual lectures. You can find more information about the program here. We would be delighted to welcome interested people from the theological institutes as well as from the faculty as a whole who would like to reflect on and discuss these questions with us.
