The construction of an international port was politically promoted as a promise of development. For the residents, a threat scenario opens up for the nature in and from which they live. The film bears witness to state violence and displacement and gives a voice to people who would remain silent internationally, nationally and nationally, while also depicting and reflecting on the protest movement that has so far succeeded in averting the construction of the port by designating it as a nature reserve.

After the film premiere, questions and suggestions from the audience were discussed. A well-rounded international documenta film evening!
