On the one hand, the conference aims to present the central results of the DFG project "Language in Conspiracy Theories" to the specialist community and put them up for discussion. On the other hand, the now multifaceted linguistic research on the topic is to be bundled and made visible in its theoretical and methodological-empirical diversity. Welcome are linguistic and interdisciplinary contributions - whether for example in qualitative and/or quantitative, descriptive and/or critical perspectives - that deal with the use of language in conspiracy theories in all its manifestations, including the multimodal sign dimension.
