Narrative visualization strategies and historical questions of truth

On 27.11.2025 a study day will take place in cooperation with the Chair of Systematic Theology at the University of Marburg (Prof. Dr. Malte D. Krüger) in the rooms of the ESG Kassel (Mönchebergstraße 29). The focus will be on the connection between narrative and history. Contributions from Greek studies, Latin studies, systematic theology and the Old and New Testaments will open up different specialist perspectives. The event starts at 12:30 pm.

The public evening lecture by Prof. Dr. Udo Schnelle (Halle) on "The Myth in the Gospel of John" starts at 7:30 pm.

Visitors can attend the entire study day or individual lectures. All further details can be found on the corresponding poster. Interested parties from the theological institutes and the entire faculty are invited to participate and join in the discussion.
