Bio
I am currently pursuing a PhD in Foreign Language Learning and Teaching of English, using psycholinguistic methods to explore the role of processing instruction and structured input in second language acquisition. My interest in TEFL deepened during my MA studies at LMU Munich, where I conducted a case study on Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) and its implementation in an experimental primary school in Greece.
I have taught English to a wide range of learner groups—from primary school pupils in traditional TEFL classrooms to university students in CLIL-inspired settings. At LMU, I also worked as an English coach in the university’s FLIP programme, supporting students in their language learning journeys through individualized coaching rather than formal instruction.
As part of my MA degree, I completed an internship abroad in Malta, where I worked at a language centre both as an administrative assistant and as an English teacher, primarily teaching young learners who visited Malta for short-term immersion courses.
I hold a BA in English Language and Literature from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where I studied theoretical and applied linguistics, cultural studies, and translation. My academic background, combined with my practical teaching experience, supports my ongoing research into innovative and effective approaches to English language instruction.
