Bio
I am a research assistant (PhD student) and lecturer. My multimethod PhD project examines the inclusion of neurodiverse learners with ADHD in EFL teaching, linking experimental research with classroom practice. I am also involved in the ZLF-funded DIDA project led by Prof. Dr. Tanja Angelovska.
My research focuses on the neurocognitive foundations of language acquisition, especially how attention, memory, and self-regulation shape foreign language learning and teaching. I am particularly interested in how domain-general cognitive processes interact with language-specific mechanisms, and how this knowledge can inform more effective, inclusive, and learner-sensitive language pedagogy.
My previous work includes research on cognitive differences in EFL reading and EEG-based sentence parsing, with a focus on how neurocognitive processes support language comprehension and learning.
I hold degrees in TEFL, English Linguistics, Neurocognitive Science, and Experimental Linguistics from universities in Tehran, Regensburg, Trento, and Potsdam.
