Places available again: Get your fitness trainer A license in record time

Thanks to a new cooperation with the German Vocational Academy for Sport and Health (dba) in Baunatal, students of the Institute of Sport and Sport Science can now secure the highest qualification level in the fitness sector - and in a more compact form than ever before: the course comprises just three days of attendance plus a separate examination day instead of the usual 18 days and costs just €500 for students from Kassel (normally around €2,000). Anyone who has completed their 3rd semester is eligible to take part.

The next rounds will take place in 2026: The course runs from August 17-19 with an exam on September 18. An internship of 120 hours is required to complete the course; 60 hours from the practical school studies or the practical semester are credited, so that the additional workload remains manageable.
