University sports day gets the university moving

Sports enthusiasts should make a note in their diaries for Wednesday, June 29: the eleventh University Sports Day 'Uni in motion' starts at 1 pm. Reason enough to celebrate the day with lots of attractive hands-on activities, tournaments and health offers.

The Headis "Road to World Cup" will be stopping off at the A-Platz as part of the Women's World Cup. It's worth coming along and trying it out, and there's also a Headis ball and "Road to World Cup" shirt to be won. Speaking of A-Platz, in addition to a large number of attractive hands-on activities, the "newcomers" will be introducing themselves on the stage. You can look forward to performances by Capoeira, Move & Box and New Style & House.

There will also be plenty going on in the B-Platz and beach area: In addition to the soccer tournament, the team half marathon will start there as usual. Last year, the Sports Institute took second place behind "Jan Wettläufer". Maybe this year it will be enough to win the title? The beach volleyball is also hotly contested. So it's a good thing that this year, for the first time, we can offer you refreshments accompanied by cozy music. If you like, you can pick up a few slacklining tricks along the way.

Of course, as in the past, we will be holding many other tournaments on the entire grounds.

The University Sports Day will conclude with thumb wrestling on the stage (A-Platz) before the awards ceremony for the individual tournaments begins. Afterwards, the "After-Sports-Party" will take place from 8 pm. Both indoors and outdoors, there will be an opportunity to rehydrate and reflect on the day.
