Sports aptitude test 2012

This year, the Institute of Sport and Sport Science conducted the sport aptitude test on 15.06.2012 and 04.07.2012. A total of 121 applicants took the test.

Dr. Günter Böttcher welcomed the potential first-year students and explained the course of the day. The prospective students had to perform well in 10 disciplines and achieve specified standards in order to prove their suitability to study sport.

The aptitude test for the prospective students included endurance (Cooper test), speed, speed-strength, gymnastics and various team sports. Coordination skills were also tested, with the main focus on coordination under time pressure and coordination under rhythmic requirements.

Of the 121 applicants, the Institute of Sport and Sport Science congratulates 107 future students on passing the aptitude test.

The IfSS is looking forward to welcoming the first-year students to Kassel in the winter semester 2012/2013.
