a Result, a Response, a Reflection, a Critique on the current stance on international students.

The result is a series of posters titled each with one critical question. Which will be used in a pop-up workshop where we will collect responses from the community by allowing participants to write their thoughts regarding these topics directly on the posters.

Sharing your stories will help guide us into the next steps on how to discuss and manifest change in our community.

All beginnings are difficult? From the preparatory course to everyday university life

Many questions arise before the start of studies: What can I expect in everyday university life? How can I finance my studies? How do I deal with cultural differences? In this seminar, fellow students from Hesse exchange information and learn how to study at a Hessian university, how to successfully apply for a scholarship, and how they can get involved in development policy during their studies.

Other events have topics such as "Digitalization and global responsibility", "Care worldwide - the forgotten sick" or "South-South Cooperation - Equal Partners? Students, fellow students and DSH students from Africa, Asia and Latin America who are studying at Hessian universities can participate in the events. Depending on the pandemic, the events will take place in presence or online.
