Zur Person

Ismail Doga Karatepe is a post-doc researcher at the International Centre for Development and Decent Work (ICDD), University of Kassel. He received his BA in Economics from Istanbul University, earned his master’s degrees in Economics and Global Political Economy from Ege University, Izmir, Turkey and University of Kassel, respectively. He completed his PhD degree at the University of Kassel as well.
 His publications generally focus on the state theory, economic policies, islamist politics and urban development. He is a co-editor of Infobrief Turkei, a critical bulletin in German. (http://infobrief-tuerkei.blogspot.de/).
