Christian Möllmann studierte Politikwissenschaft und Global Political Economy in Leipzig und Brighton (Sussex). 2004 begann er seine Promotion an der Graduate School of Social Sciences (Universität Bremen) zum Thema "The politics of pension fund governance: The making of norms for corporate pension provision in transnational perspective".

Wissenschaftliche Interessenschwerpunkte: Globale Politische Ökonomie  von   Finanzbeziehungen (insbesondere institutionelle Investoren), Rentenpolitik, Theorien der Internationalen Beziehungen und Globalen Politischen Ökonomie

Christian studied political science and global political economy at the universities of Leipzig and Sussex.
