European Summer Institute

May 20, 2019 – June 28, 2019

The European Summer Institute (ESI) is a joint educational venture between the MA Program in Political Science-United Nations and Global Policy Studies (UNMA) at Rutgers University, and the International Center for Development and Decent Work (ICDD) at the University of Kassel. During the 6 weeks program students from Rutgers University live in Kassel and study at the Department of Political Sciences at the University of Kassel. They choose from a variety of courses offered by the program, participate in study trips and excursions, as well as take part in a German language course. Students will be housed with selected German homestay families. This offers them the opportunity to gain insights into the German society and practice their German skills in everyday live. Breakfast and dinner will be provided as part of the homestay.
