The "Experimental and Digital Design and Construction" department engages in architectural academia, focusing on computational design and fabrication processes. It collaborates with construction, statics, design, and bio-material fields, driven by a commitment to empirical research. Recognizing the transformative potential of digitalization, the department emphasizes robotics as a valuable tool for students to navigate design complexities. Within this academic sphere, students explore the nuanced interplay of formal, spatial, structural, and sustainable design parameters, while also exploring the potential of bio-material applications to enrich architectural practice.
